A special thanks to Brian, Jerry, and Lynn for accompanying me on this trip. Another big thanks to Brian for schlepping his camera, lenses, and tripod around in a backpack throughout the trip. You all have him to thank for the bulk of the pictures. I've added a few more pictures taken during the trip in the entry below. I think we all are coming away from this trip with some very fond memories of Europe.
Thanks too to all of you who checked the blog while we were away. Judging by the comments we have received you all seem to have liked it. Creating and managing a blog is a very simple process. If you ever need assistance in setting one up just let me know. I'll be happy to help. Until next time...auf Weidersehen!

Tomorrow...
Tomorrow is our last day in Europe. We plan to spend the late morning, early afternoon walking around downtown Munich. After that we will get the winter tires/wheels removed and my stock tires/wheels remounted. From there we will drive to the port where I will drop-off my car for shipment to the states. Somewhere around 6-8 weeks later it will arrive at Kuni BMW in Beaverton.
What We Did On March 15th & 16th...
Schloss Neuschwanstein in Fussen, Germany.
Schloss Hohenschwangau in Fussen, Germany. This castle is located about one half mile from Schloss Neuschwanstein.
This was our waitress at the Hofbrauhaus at Schloss Neuschwanstein.
Lunch in the capital city of Liechtenstein, Vaduz.

Our Last Full Day In Switzerland...
Our last day in Switzerland was a good one. As I mentioned in my previous post we visited the Schilthorn today. The weather was clear, cold and sunny at 10,000 feet.
We were not able to visit Trummelbach falls as we had originally planned because it does not open until April.
A clarification from a previous post…the semi-truck accident that we saw in Italy (pictures below) happened 10 minutes or so before we got there. WE WERE NEVER IN ANY DANGER. We simply got stuck in a bit of Italian gridlock. There were 6 – 7 trucks involved in that accident.

Greetings From Switzerland
The view from our Interlaken hotel room this morning.
Dinner last night in Interlaken (yes, that is a fondue pot).
Lunch yesterday in Como, Italy.
Hello everyone. We are currently in Interlaken, Switzerland. We arrived last night. On our way here we drove through Milan (much traffic) and Lake Como, Italy (sunny and warm). Check out the pictures of the traffic accident we just missed in Italy. It was a pretty spectacular wreck.
Today, using a series of trains, buses, and gondolas, we're planning to head up into the Alps. Interlaken is located very close to a range of mountains that includes Jungfrau (13,642 ft.), Monch (13,475 ft.), and Eiger (13,026 ft.). Our two primary destinations today will be Trummelbach falle (www.truemmelbachfaelle.ch/enmain2/main2.php) and the Schilthorn (http://www.schilthorn.ch/). We'll be sure to post some pictures when we get back.
